This presentation was delivered as part of the Tribal Lands and Environment Forum: Virtual Gathering in August 2020 by Jill Grant, Mary Clemmensen, and Sue Burnham, Jill Grant & Associates, LLC.
Launching a website can help tribal environmental programs ensure compliance and provide community outreach during the coronavirus pandemic and in a post-pandemic world. Moving program permitting procedures, trainings, and public forums online can reduce the need for physical contact during the pandemic and increase long term program efficiency. In this session you will learn about the benefits of launching a program website, the basic steps to create your website, and what content to include. If available at the time this session takes place, we will also include lessons learned from a recent tribal case study. No prior knowledge is needed.
