The National Tribal Brownfields Working Group (NTBWG) is a network of tribal professionals, other revitalization experts, and government employees that are engaged in work with Brownfield sites, tribal lands, and other sites of special concern. These individuals work on protecting indigenous lands, lifeways, water, and community health; catalyzing reuse opportunities; and providing guidance to the Tribal Technical Assistance to Brownfields (Tribal TAB) program, led by the Center for Hazardous Substance Research at Kansas State University. This core group will assist with and help guide the roll-out of the initiative and, importantly, identify key priorities common throughout the country and its regions moving forward. Participants will have access to the information resources, e-tools, experts, peers, and partnerships of Tribal TAB.
