We are very honored to have Starla Thompson as our keynote speaker for this TLEF’s Opening Plenary! Starla is a member of the Forest County Potawatomi, Indigenous educator, scholar, advocate, and Jingle Dress Dancer. She will speak about Indigenous women, land, and legacy, which is the perfect way for us to start our annual homecoming. We also are pleased to have welcoming remarks from NAU President José Luis Cruz Rivera, US EPA Administrator Michael Regan, Rafael DeLeon from US EPA OITA, Anne Heard from US EPA OLEM, and Tribal Response Coordinator for the Sac & Fox Nation of Missouri in Kansas and Nebraska and chair of the TWAR Steering Committee. And, the Oneida Veterans Department will be providing our Color Guard. We look forward to seeing you all as we kick off the 2022 TLEF!
