This presentation was delivered as part of the Tribal Lands and Environment Forum: Virtual Gathering in August 2021 by Virginia LeClere with the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation, Duran Andrews with the San Xavier Cooperative Farm, Tohono O'odham Nation, and Alfonso Chavez with the San Xavier Cooperative Farm, Tohono O'odham Nation.
This session features a video tour of the San Xavier Cooperative Farm, at Tohono O'odham Nation, which will introduce you to the farm and all the programs we offer. We will also have two farm representatives speak in depth on different projects at the farm, such as our Wild Harvest Program for the community. We offer catering services using products grown on the farm, grow our traditional foods, and grow chemical free hay and alfalfa feed for community members and ranchers.
