The Bureau of Indian Affairs’ Branch of Environmental Services will provide a program overview of support areas. The Branch protects, manages, and enhances environmental resources by providing technical assistance through administration of federal laws and regulations. Attendees will gain a better understanding of support areas such as addressing threats to human health and safety through environmental compliance, environmental
reviews, and Natural Resource Damage Assessments and Restoration on
Tribal trust lands. Presenters will also connect the audience with contacts in the BIA Regions and Central Office and share additional support tools/resources.
