Do you have a system in place to track how many brownfield sites and other properties with environmental challenges exist and where they are located? This presentation will focus on using the KSU TAB Brownfield Inventory Tool (BiT) to quickly, easily and conveniently keep track of your site inventory. BiT is also available as a mobile app so you can document site progress in the field. The session will include a live demonstration walking attendees through using BiT, setting up a Project Area, entering site data, and tracking site progress. It will also highlight a case study where KSU TAB worked with Art Carmona from Spirit Lake Nation to map sites and incorporate BiT data into the map. Any attendee wanting to try out BiT will be encouraged to follow along with a laptop, smart phone, or tablet.

32:35: Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma created a process for property assessment requests and tracking as well as utilizing ERIS and QUIRE databases for streamlined reporting for Phase I site assessments and predevelopment surveys for sites that aren't new land purchases. Attendees will learn about a completing Phase I site assessments through ERIS rather than EDR. We will discuss the process we use in the field for mapping and photo documentation and how that all streamlines into our reports using QUIRE and ERIS.
