This session will bring together the tribes that are highlighted in Issue Eleven of EPA’s Tribal Waste Journal to share their experiences and lessons learned with sustainable materials management projects. The session will start with an introduction to sustainable materials management, followed by presentations by each of the tribes featured in the Journal: Haskell Indian Nations University on sustainable management of food; Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe on sustainable materials management in the built environment; and Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma on Recycling.
