This session is focused on Tribal audiences in an effort to share successes and define additional opportunities for utilizing Brownfields funds for both program capacity and for direct cleanup and assessment activities. I will outline successes at the Northern Cheyenne Tribe and the Fort Peck Tribes (and will include these Tribal coordinators depending on travel) in terms of the resources they utilized to secure assessment and cleanup grants as well as conduct 128a program cleanups. In addition, specific program capacity building measures will be shared as they relate to modernizing remote work and sampling to enhance Brownfields and solid wastes program. I hope to encourage a significant discussion and will be available throughout the conference for questions and answers.
This presentation was delivered as part of the Tribal Lands and Environment Forum in August 2022.
