This session will focus on current topics in Federal Indian Law and administrative regulatory law. This includes current Supreme Court opinions regarding tribal sovereignty, how federal courts are applying the Loper-Bright v. Raimondo decisions, and other cases focusing on the procedural process of federal regulations. The intended audience for this session are tribal leaders and staff members who are concerned about 1) State infringement on Tribal sovereignty and 2) the rollback of federal environmental regulations. Attendees will be provided with access to session materials beforehand (including copies of the PowerPoint) and questions are welcome throughout the presentation.
