The American Indian Environmental Office (AIEO) at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will share the new Supplemental Guidance on Providing Waste Data in GAP Progress Reports with participants. We will go into depth about helpful hints, data, and suggestions on how, what, and where to report waste management data. In addition, the information reported to EPA may provide insights into unmet needs and areas where additional support is needed, assist with establishing national priorities, identify success stories, and inform budgetary requests to Congress. AIEO will engage with participants on other ways they are managing waste data to promote peer-to-peer learning and will invite input on support needed to develop waste data management capacities. Our desired audience are Tribes with GAP grants, GAP Project officers, and EPA staff.
