This presentation will focus on how partnerships have been integral to the success of BLR’s Environmental Programs Department. With Tribal Environmental Departments in mind, we plan to discuss how partnerships can assist small environmental departments to meet deliverables and accomplish large scale projects. Attendees will be inspired to expand their partnerships, topics including: climate change, restoration, food sovereignty, solid waste, and air quality. To engage the audience, we will utilize Powerpoint, and activities. Rather than an individual tribal approach, audience members will be inspired on how to look at grant funding, project proposals, and deliverables through a partnership lens. They will learn how to utilize existing local, regional, and national resources, to achieve goals that would be out of reach for small environmental departments alone.
