Please join the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Office of Inspector General (U.S. EPA OIG), Office of Investigations for an overview of the role of the Office of Inspector General and Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA)-Related Oversight in Indian Country. The IIJA provided $3.5 billion in Superfund site clean-up, $1.5 billion in Brownfield revitalization, $350 million in solid waste and recycling grants, and $25 million in Battery recycling grants. This presentation will cover red flags to help identify potential fraud, waste and abuse as well as ways to report it. It will also cover whistleblower protections, new terms & conditions, and uniform grant guidance updates for grant recipients.
