How can storytelling strengthen Tribal brownfields programs, deepen community connection, and inspire action? Join Tribal TAB and Tribal TAB Partner Joseph Erb (Cherokee Nation) for an interactive session exploring the power of Indigenous storytelling in Tribal brownfields work. Participants will discover how storytelling already exists in their outreach, planning, and redevelopment efforts, and how small shifts in approach can make those stories more impactful, relatable, and community-centered. Joseph will introduce the Five Beats of Indigenous Storytelling as a practical framework for shaping compelling narratives around Tribal lands, environmental restoration, and resilience. Through discussion, examples, and audience participation, attendees will leave with fresh ideas, storytelling tools, and resources they can immediately apply to presentations, community engagement, grant writing, and program communications.
