This session will cover examples of Yakama Nation Environmental Restoration/Waste Management staff using creative solutions to continue work that was put into question during uncertain times. Examples will cover dealing with issues with changes to the federal workforce, losses in institutional knowledge, natural resource protection on federal lands, lessons in citizen science, and building new partnerships. All examples will be from the Yakama Nation's work at the Hanford site. The session will consist of a power point reviewing different examples with time for questions and answers. Links to any tools ER/WM utilized will be provided.
