This session will provide an overview of the U.S. EPA Brownfields Job Training (BFJT) Program and the technical assistance resources available to support Tribal Nations and partner organizations interested in applying for or implementing a BFJT grant. Adaapta, EPA's national BFJT Technical Assistance provider, and Tribal TAB will share information on program requirements, eligible activities, partnerships, funding strategies, and available applicant and grantee support resources. Tribal BFJT grantees will also present their firsthand experiences developing and implementing successful programs, including lessons learned, challenges, and community impacts. Attendees will leave with a stronger understanding of how the BFJT program can support workforce development and environmental revitalization in Tribal communities, along with access to tools, resources, and peer insights to support future program success.
