(To request closed captioning or transcripts, contact NEIEN@nau.edu with the title and URL of the video.)This tool was developed by the US EPA for state, local, and tribal planners, or any jurisdiction needing a detailed pre-incident waste management plan for major homeland security incidents, including Chemical, Biological, Radiological or Natural Disaster incidents. The tool provides a template for a user to provide information about their jurisdiction, the scope of the incident being planned for, and information on structures within that jurisdiction that are likely to be impacted by an incident. Based on this information, the tool will predict waste streams and volumes likely to be generated, and assist in identifying waste management facilities.
