Don’t be surprised by what’s under the ground. Good information about your UST system (tanks, piping, ancillary equipment) and a good data system to manage that information is vital to managing for environmental protection and helping to ensure you know what you’ve got, what could impact you, and how to prevent costly releases. This workshop will:
• Highlight Tribal experience managing UST facility data.
• Share lessons learned to improve data management.
• Demonstrate a new computer application compliance assistance tool for UST (e.g., gas station) owners and operators (Facility Specific Compliance Plan (FASCOMP) application)
• Explore what Tribal programs need.
• Inform best data management practices to promote UST compliance.
