This presentation is geared towards tribes with waste transfer stations that are looking to make technological, structural, and environmental improvements to their site. The first part of the presentation will provide a walkthrough of an electronic software to track and report waste and household hazardous waste and how it could be applied to other transfer stations. The middle section of the presentation will discuss the preliminary structural improvements at the Rincon Transfer Station and lessons learned. The last portion of the presentation will discuss future development plans at the Transfer Station to improve the functionality of the site and protect the environment.
