Our opening plenary this year will begin with an invocation by John Wheaton, the emergency planning coordinator for the Nez Perce Tribe. We will have welcoming remarks by Casey Sixkiller, Region 10 Administrator; Kenneth Martin, AIEO Director; Cliff Villa, OLEM Deputy Assistant Administrator; Mehrdad Khatibi, Co-Director of ITEP; and Rebecca Stevens, Coeur d’Alene Tribe’s Restoration Coordinator and the TWAR SC chair. We’re thrilled to have Shannin Stutzman, Hannis Coos and Kalapuya drummer, singer, educator, and storyteller play the Flag Song and share stories of the Kalapuya people.
