This presentation was delivered as part of the Tribal Lands and Environment Forum: Virtual Gathering in August 2021 by Page Hingst with the Santee Sioux Nation of Nebraska.
Come meet the Tribal PFAS Workgroup, and find out what we do and more about our objectives, goals and priorities. Tribal Nations can use us as a one-stop shop for resources that will assist in dealing with PFAS. We are hoping to also release a Tribal PFAS Map showing reservation boundaries and their locations to areas that PFAS has been detected, and want this session to be an open discussion among Tribes. We encourage you to speak about your struggles, challenges and issues dealing with PFAS contamination. Tribes will have access to research studies, maps, documents, guidances and anything else they would like upon request.
