This session discusses the idea of developing renewable energy on Tribal lands, including a focus on developing renewable energy on contaminated lands. The session will feature a presentation on the RE-Powering America’s Land Initiative, and a discussion on various legal aspects of developing renewable energy on Tribal land (e.g. partnerships, financing, liability, etc.). There will be a Question-and-Answer period at the end of the session.
