This training was delivered as an On Demand session at the Tribal Lands and Environment Forum: Virtual Gathering in August 2020 Mark Howard, US Environmental Protection Agency. See presenter notes below.
The presentation provides an overview of the SPCC rule provisions. The presentation also covers the EPA SPCC inspection process and common plan and field deficiencies. It is led by the national SPCC Program Manager. The objective of the course is to provide both an overview of the SPCC rule and a practical guide using actual inspection photographs to show problems encountered in the field. The course is for persons with no SPCC experience and for seasoned field practitioners of AST spill prevention and response.
