This training is designed for new NRDAR practitioners, resource managers, including those involved with Superfund, and anyone wishing to attain a basic understanding of NRDAR. It emphasizes the NRDAR process for both the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and the Oil Pollution Act (OPA). It includes practical exercises and group discussions to gain a better understanding of the NRDAR process and it's guiding regulations and policies. At the end of this course, participants should understand what NRDAR is, when it applies, and what the basic steps in completing a NRDAR are. Participants should expect that additional skill building is needed before they can conduct NRDARs independently.
