Federal facilities can be very challenging sites to deal with, and it can be hard to even find where to start. But the EPA’s Federal Facilities Restoration and Reuse Office (FFRRO) would like to help. FFRRO representatives Emy Laija, Emily Royal, and Mary Cooke shared what FFRRO can do for you at federal facility sites. They covered the types of sites in the program, identified online tools, and provided information on where to start for non-NPL sites. They shared a case study regarding the Hanford BC site where EPA continues to work closely with the Yakama Nation and the Department of Energy. The presentation concluded with a Q&A with the FFRRO representatives and Rose Ferri from the Yakama Nation.
