This presentation will focus on the history of air quality on the Gila River Indian Community (GRIC) from the creation of industrial parks in the 1960s through current and future activities. Included in this presentation are summaries of Federal and State air quality laws and policies over time, GRIC’s Treatment as a State (TAS) and air quality rule development processes, and the National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) designations for GRIC.
