This presentation explains the basic Natural Resource Damage Assessment and Restoration (NRDAR) process and describes how Tribal Nations can be involved in NRDAR case. It will provide examples of successful NRDAR cases where Trustee Councils with Tribal Nations as co-Trustees have received millions of dollars for restoration of injured resources from releases of hazardous substances.
