webinar featuring guest presenter Hans Peter H. Arp, PhD, of the Norwegian
Geotechnical Institute & Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
The title of his presentation Trifluoroacetic Acid: A Planetary Boundary
Threat focused on his study of trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) and its
persistence in the environment. TFA is a strong, water-soluble acid, a type of
PFAS, or "forever chemical," known for its stability and mobility.
