Building on the success of the 2024 TLEF 4Rs session, we once again are bringing a lens to improving communication and expanding our Rs: Respect, Relationality, Responsibility, Representation, Relevance, and Reciprocity. Practicing the 6Rs in communications with people outside of our individual organizations can fundamentally change environmental outcomes. This panel discussion will bring together members from Tribal governments, academia, and federal agencies to discuss how they've used the 6Rs and other communication strategies that foster relationship building to achieve outcomes for their organizations. Panelists will share real examples of how they have overcome strained relationships and how they were able to move forward on projects, while also building, strengthening, and protecting relationships.
