ITEP Fundamentals-Emissions Inventories
ITEP Fundamentals-Emissions Inventories
This series is provided for those writing a level 4 inventory, using information already in the EPAās National Emissions Inventory database. Constructing a level 4 inventory is a recommended first step for constructing a level 3 or 2 inventory, which adds source-specific activity (throughput) data and calculations of emissions for sources not represented in the national database. Some agencies decide to write only level 4 inventories, especially in those cases when most or all of sources are already represented in the national database. Other agencies continue to the Advanced series, in which activity (throughput) data is used to calculate emissions, and then the calculated emissions are added to the emissions in the level 4 inventory. In either case, this Fundamentals series is recommended as a first step.
***This series includes modules 1-6, and each module contains at least one video. For example, module 1 includes 2 videos, organized as 1A and 1B. The videos should be watched sequentially, unless the viewer is consulting specific procedures.
